Dr. Amanda Gaymes
Family Physician
Dr. Gaymes completed her medical training at Saba University School of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency training in Ohio, USA. She went on to complete a one-year hospital medicine fellowship at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Over the past three years, she has worked as a hospitalist at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital providing acute care to hospitalized patients.
Dr. Gaymes has a special interest in palliative care and care of the elderly. She values long-term connections with her patients and practices evidence-based medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Gaymes enjoys swimming, art projects, and trying new cuisine.
Dr. Gaymes will start full-time at Oasis Family Health Centre in April 2022. She is currently accepting patients starting in February 2022.
