Dr. Muhammad Z. Hashmi
Family Physician
Dr. Hashmi is a family physician and new addition to our team at Oasis Family Health Centre. He is currently accepting new patients and families.
He was born in Karachi, Pakistan and grew up in Toronto. He obtained his medical education at Saba University School of Medicine. During his training, he was able to work in hospitals all over the US. His final rotation was in family medicine in Canton, Ohio; where he subsequently completed his residency training.
Family medicine has been Dr. Hashmi’s primary focus and interest since he began his medical career. Having also practiced hospital medicine, Dr. Hashmi has seen how the conditions patients present with, affect them and their loved ones. As a result, he is passionate about preventative medicine and educating his patients about it. He is invested in the care of patients and families of all ages and stages. Dr. Hashmi is also well-versed in in-office procedures such as joint injections.
In his leisure time, he likes to read, watch movies/TV and travel. Dr. Hashmi is fluent in English, Urdu and Hindi.
