Dr. Shabbir Hussain

Dr. Shabbir Hussain, a family physician, is joining our team. He has practiced in Downtown Toronto as a family and urgent care physician, since 2013 and is currently accepting new patients and families at Oasis Family Health Centre. 

He obtained his medical education from Dow Medical College and completed his residency training from University of Texas at Houston (USA). He completed additional training in HIV medicine from University of Toronto.

He worked with physicians from St Michael Hospital in the initial setup for Downtown East Ontario Health team (DET-OHT) and served as executive member for 4 years.
