Dr. Raheel is a family physician and the Medical Director of Oasis Family Health Centre, a multidisciplinary health care center including family practice, specialty consultations, Rehab, dietitian and pharmacy. She is an Assistant professor at University of Toronto, Department of Family Medicine. Dr. Raheel has always remained in active practice serving a diverse population and taking on clinical leadership roles like serving as Leadership team member of Scarborough primary care network (www.Scarboroughfpn.org). She served as a staff physician at Durham College where she was responsible for students and staff health care. She volunteers at the College of Family Physicians of Canada as an Examiner and is actively involved in various CPSO activities involving self-regulation. She served as a board member of a local Welfare organization which provides free health services, food bank and women’s shelter to public. Dr. Raheel has a passion in providing high standard of care for visible minorities, in Mental and Women’s health. She has been invited to seminars and professional conferences to address Women’s health issues on local TV channel for her community. She serves as a mentor for high school students, nurse practitioner, international and local medical graduates.
She completed Medical School at Dow University, Pakistan and her Family Medicine residency from the University of Minnesota USA. She brings to the table, Certification and Fellowship from College of Family Physician of Canada and by the American Academy of Family Physicians with licensed to practice Family Medicine in Ontario and Minnesota, USA. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr Raheel is happily married, mother of three adorable children. She enjoys sketching and painting in water medium.
